Maggie O'Neill

Maggie is a partner and senior director at Peppercom and director of Peppercommotions. She brings 18 years of communications and strategic event planning experience to Peppercommotions, the experiential marketing division of Peppercom. The division, which she founded in 2004, specializes in developing strategic campaigns that engage consumers and constituents through  immersive brand experiences.

Day-to-day, Maggie is responsible for the growth and direction of Peppercommotions, as well as providing agency wide public relations and events strategy and support.  Current and past clients include Whirlpool, T.G.I. Friday’s, Panasonic, Slipstream Cycling, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Malibu-Kahlua International. Prior to launching Peppercommotions, Maggie was a director in Peppercom’s growing San Francisco office where she headed up new business development and managed clients including ILOG, Tyco, The Doctors Company and Rebuilding Together.

Before joining Peppercom in 2001, Maggie was a Director at the San Francisco/Silicon Valley offices of Golin Harris International/Mindstorm. She headed up public relations and strategic development of their West Coast practice for clients such as Sony, Snapfish, OnTrack and ScreamingMedia.  Maggie joined Golin/Harris after working for over five years in entertainment and consumer public relations working as the personal public relations director for Marlboro Road Gang Productions (MRGP) and leading public relations campaigns for clients such as Guinness Import Company, Star Magazine, “A Current Affair” and “Judge Judy.”

Maggie has been interviewed and quoted in numerous events and communications articles ranging from PR Week to Alaska Magazine.  In addition, she represents the agency with speaking engagements and association board support including New York Meetings & Industry Exchange (NYMIX), The Special Event and WOMMA.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from New York University.
