Jacki Vause has worked in publishing and public relations for over 20 years with experience managing communications strategies for major clients spanning from B2B to consumer and working with major corporations including Channel 4, Siemens, Celador International, Avaya, GE, AT&T, Tyco, Marsh, Henkel, Rohm & Haas and Panasonic. At Peppercom she oversees all communications activities and advises clients on strategic planning, corporate and sales positioning and crisis management.
Jacki started her career in publishing and worked at VNU Business Publications for five years managing leading titles including Personal Computer World, Personal Computer Magazine, Var World, What PC and Micro Decision. Jacki was headhunted to join Roderick Manhattan Group Ltd as Marketing Manager. She was promoted to General Manager and was one of the founding members of PlanIT Software and Starfish Software - subsidiaries of RMG.
In 1995 Jacki founded Vause and Associates a specialist IT PR agency. In 1997 Vause and Associates merged with Flapjack Communications. Flapjack Communications grew to be one of the leading high-tech PR agencies reaching 114 in the PRWeek top 150 league tables. In November 2001 Flapjack merged with Midnight Communications to form one of the leading independent PR consultancies in the UK. Jacki co-founded Peppercom UK with Steve Cody and Ed Moed, the managing partners of Peppercom, in April 2002.
Jacki is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Lady Taverners.
