
Jackie Kolek
Jackie Kolek is a Senior Director and a member of Peppercom's management committee. In this role, Jackie provides overall strategic direction and account management for several of the firm's key clients. Her expertise includes positioning/respositioning, strategic media relations, crisis communications, crisis preparedness training, executive positioning/thought leadership and media training. With a strong background in developing and implementing creative and innovation programs that help clients to achieve business objectives, Jackie brings deep expertise in helping clients to position and/or reposition themselves among key audiences.
Jackie recently rejoined the Peppercom team after pursuing an opportunity with Integrated Corporate Relations, a financial communications firm. As a Senior Vice President in the firm's Corporate Communications Group, Jackie helped clients to tell their financial and business story and build visibility and awareness on Wall Street. She counseled US BioEnergy, Metabolix and Switch and Data through their initial public offerings.
Prior to joining Peppercom, Jackie was an Account Supervisor in the Corporate Reputation Practice of GCI Group. While at GCI, Jackie provided strategic media relations, employee communications, and executive positioning for professional and financial services clients including Deloitte & Touche, global apparel manufacturer VF Corporation and Broadview International, an M&A investment bank specializing in the technology industry.
Jackie also served as media relations specialist in the Corporate and Financial Practice at Manning, Selvage and Lee, working on behalf of clients including Eastman Chemical Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Allied Signal. She began her career as an Assistant Account Executive in the Business-to-Business Practice at Cohn & Wolfe.
Jackie is frequently quoted in the public relations trade media and has published articles on reputation and marketing topics in publications including Investment News. She has also served as a guest lecturer at industry events such as the NY Women in Communications "Night at the Roundtables" and taught a media relations course as GE's famed Crotonville training center.
Jackie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware in 1994. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys running, sea kayaking, mountain biking and fishing. She lives with her husband and two children in Westport, CT.
